The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.
SASSA might be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed in regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service position produced for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all consumers and maximize usage of Social Assistance sassa status check companies,” the agency said.
